The recipient of the 2015 David King Education Bursary embodies a passion for lifelong learning, a strong commitment to and belief in the LPN profession, and a wish that all Licensed Practical Nurses be taught by fellow LPNs.
Tammy MacDougall, LPN, received the $2500 bursary to pursue a Bachelor of Health Administration. Tammy is a family practice nurse at a primary care network.

The David King Bursary assists LPNs pursuing Education or Adult Education degrees or certificates with costs associated with tuition, books and materials of an approved educational program.
The bursary is distributed annually. Applications will open in January 2016.
